Eine Correctio (lateinisch „Berichtigung“, von lat. corrigere – „gerade richten, berichtigen“) ist ein rhetorisches Stilmittel, bei dem sich der Sprechende selbst berichtigt. Meistens ersetzt er einen schwächeren Ausdruck durch einen aussagekräftigeren.
